It can be very easy to be sucked into an easy lifestyle as an expat in Thailand. Graze in the sun, eat and drink fairly cheaply in the local bars and restaurants and before you know it you have developed a bit of a stomach.
This year – what with the lock down – to greatly improve my health and fitness levels. I am the wrong side of 40 years old and although, in my eyes, not old, I know that I need to look after myself far more than when in my twenties.
I posed an interesting question to a former Mr Universe winner and owner of the Muscle Factory gyms in Pattaya and Bangkok – ‘What is the minimum amount of exercise needed to stay in shape when over 40 years old’.
