Most people visit Bangkok’s famous attractions, but this time we stayed somewhere completely different. Hidden away in Phra Khanong is a hotel inspired by Thailand’s movie history, with themed rooms that feel more like film sets than hotel rooms. We checked into the Raiders of the Lost Temple room and had a great time exploring all the details.
The hotel also features Arcadia Live, packed with retro arcade machines, movie nights, and plenty of nostalgic fun. Add in the area’s cool community vibe, local food spots, cafés, and interesting history, and Phra Khanong turns out to be one of Bangkok’s most underrated neighbourhoods.
