How did that happen – I am 50 years young today! I have lived in Thailand in my adult life longer than in the UK now – that is some achievement.
As most of us do, hitting such a milestone is a chance to reflect on my life and I must say, I am rather content. I think for myself and take proactive actions to ensure, for the best part, I remain in control of my destiny.
A simple, healthy life whilst keeping the hunger to try new things seems to be the sweet spot for me – whilst I now understand the importance of having a loving, close family.
My greatest sorrow was the loss of two loving parents whilst I was barely out of my teenage years, the tragedy of life.
Here is to the next 50 years..!
