In 2019, Thailand hit record levels of International tourists which was just shy of 40-million and then Covid hit and wrecked hospitality world over.
Now the country wants to rebuild and smash existing recorded numbers with an eye watering 80-million tourists targeted by 2027. To put this into perspective, the country has a population of 71.6-million – so the country will welcome more tourists than its own population.
I am enthusiastic and excited by such grand plans.
