Maybe the word ‘crazy’ is a bit harsh and ‘different’ would have been a politer term for what goes on in the build up to the sunset on Zen Beach in Phangan every evening.
Hippies, Yoga students, jugglers and back packers all meet in mass on this beautiful beach to get the best view of the sun setting. I must admit I enjoyed the energy and found the whole experience very entertaining.
Just another reason as to why Koh Phangan is one of my favourite islands in Thailand.
