It may not have the huge number of attractions that established tourist regions like Bangkok, Samui and the likes boast, but that is just the attraction. For in Prae you get to see the real Thailand.
I was interested to learn that little over 120 years ago this province had its own ruler and was not part of Thailand – even though it is surrounded by the country. If you enjoy temples, museums, coffee shops and learning about regions then Prae is worth a visit.
