Former two-time heavyweight champion of the world, the charismatic Tyson Fury, will step back into the ring right here in Pattaya, Thailand, on 24 July in a WBC-sanctioned bout against Polish fighter Mariusz Wach.
The fight serves as a warm-up ahead of a proposed showdown with Anthony Joshua later this year, with all proceeds being donated to the local children’s charity the Father Ray Foundation.
Fury will fight Mariusz Wach. At 46 years of age, Polish heavyweight veteran Mariusz Wach, standing 6 feet 7 inches tall and a former world title challenger, remains one of boxing’s toughest and most durable heavyweights, having faced some of the biggest names of his generation. He has fought – and lost – to Wladimir Klitschko for the unified heavyweight titles in 2022 and shared the ring with Moses Itauma and Dillian Whyte.
Reports also coming through the Fury will not take a purse for this fight.
More details as and when I get them – 1st July, 2026.
