There once was a time that I considered myself not worthy of watching such a grandeur game of polo as there is no doubting it is a sport for the rich. But over the weekend I was invited to the Argentinian polo cup in Pattaya and jumped at the chance to attend.

With free flow of wine, beer and food throughout the day – which included some fabulous Argentian steak – it was certainly a day to savour. Rubbing shoulders with Ambassadors was also a nice experience, and one I seem to be doing more and more of recently! It is fascinating to see how others live on a day to day basis over here in Thailand and I hope gives Dan about Thailand a real breadth to its content offered.

This was a great day indeed and the game of polo itself much more dynamic and exciting that I had initially imagined.
