His Excellency Brian Davidson is the British Ambassador to Thailand and I caught up with him last week to put to him questions from the readers of Thaivisa.com.
In this interview we discuss a whole host of points from the new embassy in Bangkok to the role of the embassy for British expats and visitors to the Kingdom. 2019 has also been a challenging year for many retired expats in Thailand and Brian explained the British Embassy’s position regarding the withdrawal of the income letter and mandatory health insurance for those applying for OA visas. Brian also revealed the current number of British nationals currently live in Thailand.
