I have to do a double take quite often on what Pattaya has now become as it has changed just so much over the past decade. It is now a destination that can attract weekend Bangkokians and its far more than just a region for budget travelers.

Over the weekend my wife and I went to the stylish Siam@Siam Design Hotel in a rare opportunity to have a night out on our own, as we got a baby sitter for our two kids. We wanted to do something nice and so opted to watch the sunset on the hotels uber cool rooftop and then grab some food at their popular seafood and BBQ buffet. It once again proved to me that Pattaya can cater for all types of visitors as we had a wonderful time.
