I am well travelled throughout Thailand and always look at the different property options available on the market from region to region. Samui and Phangan offer many mountain villas, Phuket offers condominiums and villas and is very popular with the Russians, Pattaya and Hua Hin offer a mix of property types for Expats, and so on. But Koh Chang always stands out for me.
Koh Chang is a stunning island and much of it is protected as a National Park, this helps retain that Island rugged charm; whereas other regions always feel a tad over developed.
And on Koh Chang you have a unique village that just cannot be recreated anywhere else on Thailand. It is a village located within Blue Haven Bay, just 5-minutes from the ferry and directly along a 2km stretch of sandy coast line.
