My family and I recently returned from a 2 week vacation in the UK and loved visiting places like Broadstairs, London and Edinburgh. The UK does indeed boast many wonderful attractions and destinations and as a tourist it was great. But, by and large, the people up and down the country are not happy with the direction the country is going.
The UK is very good at showcasing it’s wonderful past and heritage but I could not help think the country relies too much on it’s legacy rather than it’s current. It was only an observation so I could be wrong but the friends and family I spoke to were not enjoying things as they are now.

Spot on assessment of the UK. It’s in the toilet. I was just there. You have to get way out of England proper to the remote countryside to get some kind of sense of what the country was. It’s such a shame but look at any of the major cities in America and you see the same thing.
