Moving abroad is a big step and finding friendship important to prevent loneliness. In my opinion, although not impossible, it has become a little harder for expats to find new friends.
The easiest place is in a bar, but as I explain my vlog, it is not the best solution for a number of reasons and one is the fact you could well find yourself in a relationship with a bar girl. That is a disaster especially when there are so many better options in Thailand. I speak to many Thai girls working decent jobs and well educated who struggle to meet good men – there is no easy way to connect the two parties here.
I remember asking these girls why they don’t use dating sites to find partners. They explained that these sites are flooded with bar girls and many men assume they are also from the bar.
