I had a few face to face meetings that I needed to visit Hua Hin for, but it was the perfect excuse to visit a city I have always had a soft spot for.
It was not that long ago that I spent one year in Hua Hin and it was a very pleasant experience, but just too far from Bangkok and many other places – like the International airport (3.5 hours).
Coming back for the two days I spent in the city, all the feel good endorphins kicked off again. It is like a Utopian bubble where everyone seems happy and content with their lot. A place where Thai and foreigners smile and say ‘good morning’ to each other.
