Everywhere I look there is a massage and with Thai massages starting from only 200 THB per hour (£5 / US$5.5) it does not break the bank.
It is interesting therefore that I do not take more advantage of this and rarely get a massage, but when I do the same two things go through my mind:
(1) Why don’t I do this more often?, and (2) I forgot just how much a good Thai massage hurts.
The masseur will locate your knotted muscles and work at loosening them, they will pull and stretch your body into positions you thought impossible. You will bite your lip in pain but encourage them to continue as the reward is a more flexible body and you will feel less anxious and more relaxed for the experience.
