Do Thais give you a fresh perspective on the importance of friendships?

I am always learning in this adventure called life and even though I am well versed in Thai culture, I still learn from it.

Just this week I was reminded, by Thais around me going about their day, the importance of the friends around you. Personally, I have always preferred just a very small network of friends around me in contrast to Thais who seem to have a much bigger network (often family). Maybe they have it right, and I have it wrong – or maybe it is just horses for courses.

But it does make me aware of the choices.
