For some time I have been meaning to drive to the most remote of locations to the far south of Koh Chang to see this abandoned boat. To be honest I wasn’t quite sure how to get there as the roads become narrower, with more twists and turns and over growth, the further you drive. It was quite fascinating just driving to Grand Lagoona Resort which has been closed since 2016.
The location – as beautiful as it is – has an eerie unsettling feeling given the fact a one grand spectacle has now been abandoned.
It wasn’t long after walking into the grounds that I was then told to leave by security, but I was there long enough to get some interesting video.
