I have nothing against the UK. I lived there until I was 30 years old and have very fond memories of the place. I do find it strange how many posters comment to me though that I should be raising my kids in the UK and not Thailand, citing schooling and health service as primary motivations. But, I am sorry, I just don’t buy that anymore.

Everyone to themselves and the magic of this world is in the ability to live life on your terms, rather than follow a well beaten path by others. Of course, if you choose too.

The world is changing so much and so is the needs of our children. It is a little grandeur by some to think the UK is the holy grail for children’s development. In Thailand, they get to experience International schooling with a multitude of cultures and still follow a British curriculum.
