There is a significant difference in where you choose to live in Thailand as to the experience you will get from relocating to this country.
Many people are unsure and listen to recommendations from their friends, in fact they could be going to an area primarily based on having friends already there. I get that. BUT, it doesn’t mean it is the right choice for them.
It is easy to make new friends in Thailand in the expat communities, so it is important you consider all your options before taking the plunge. Pattaya may be great for your friend, but Phuket could be better for you for example.
