Thailand boasts some terrific regions to visit and holiday. When it comes to living here though there are different criteria needed. For me I need to be near Bangkok for work so straight away areas like Chaing Mai and Phuket are out of the question, so I am only left with Bangkok itself or Pattaya and Hua Hin to live.
I have been doing a lot of research on the quietest of the three regions, Hua Hin, and I must say it does tick a lot of boxes.

Hello again, Dan,
I do so enjoy your posts. I visited Hua hin and enjoyed it a lot, but we made the mistake of staying at a resort outside of the town – it took us about 4 hours from the airport to Hua Hin – I sort of felt that this was a bit too far for commuting to Bangkok. What do you think?
