A lot has happened over the last few years from Covid to the Ukraine/Russian war and many have been feeling the pinch from rising living costs, and that includes Thailand too.
Not long ago many from the UK enjoyed a healthy exchange rate of over 70 THB to the Pound, that is now little more than 40 THB to the Pound. Furthermore, prices seem to have been increasing here in Thailand for many years.
So, what is the truth? Are Expats feeling the squeeze or is everything still hunky dorey for both working and retirees in the Land of Smiles?
