Given the fact three quarters of the world is water, I have never taken advantage of the super tropical climate in Thailand to get out to sea more often. In fact I could probably count on one hand the amount of boat trips I have been on over the years.
It was only when out on a catamaran with Island Spirit charters did I realise the huge opportunity I had been neglecting. It was awesome.
The feeling of empowerment and freedom to be out on the open waters away from the crowds. It was equally as fun being given some of the basics on what you need to skipper your own boat.
