There are endless shopping opportunities in Bangkok, especially along the Sukhmumvit Road for shopping centres. There are also lots of markets and Chatuchak weekend market is impossible to walk in one day and is also the biggest market in the world. To watch my review of this market – click here.
However with over 400 stores, a cinema, ice rink and IKEA arguably the biggest shopping centre is the MegaBangna just 30-minutes from central Bangkok. On this particular visit my objective was household furniture shopping at IKEA (and of course, to eat some of their famous Swedish meatballs!).
