My family were pretty excited when I told them I had a booked a short break to Verona. My wife grabbed the passports and had a glint in her eye, she had never been to Italy.
However, this trip would require no passport control, nor would it even a trip on a plane – as we were staying in Thailand, or Hua Hin to be more precise.
We drove for no more than 15minutes from our Villa in Hua Hin, but the transformation was as if we had jumped on a plane.
