You REALLY have to want to do it, letting nothing stop you. Or you’ll never do it. Saying, Someday, means NEVER! Leaving your country of birth, family, friends, job is a case of healthy selfishness. Someone considering leaving their comfort zone for something much better abroad requires much courage that most just don’t have. ‘The start stops most people’ NFL coach Don Shula. Most Americans are even afraid to visit another country far from the U.S., so getting them to move abroad is impossible. I know, over 70+ yrs I’ve never been able to convince anyone life abroad is much better than in the U.S. I sent hundreds of beautiful landscape photos, copies of very low utility bills, low cost proof of high end medical facilities, etc. Nothing can move them! Also, as a American living in the U.S, I got zero support from family, friends, employers regarding moving abroad. Only snide, negative comments, including fearmongering meant to scare me, turn me off leaving. They wanted me to remain right where I was, for them. Misery does love company. How dare he leave us here. Maybe, he will become something much better than us. Grrrrr!!
